Seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer for a leading national provider of federal defense drones, security drones, and public safety drones. The Sr. Electrical Engineer will be working with a innovative team of experts specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of tether-powered aerial solutions.

The position is 100% onsite in Sanford, FL and our client is looking to onboard on a 6 months Contract to Hire basis.

Responsibilities:

- Develop high-power and control electronics for high-performance multi-rotor drone
systems from initial concept through production
- All aspects of PCB Design (schematic capture, layout, manufacturing, test)
- All aspects of electronics documentation (design, manufacturing, test)
- Electronics failure analysis and mitigation
- Interface with technicians to provide electronic assembly and test assistance
- Contribute to product roadmap (new features and / or new products)
- Interface with contract manufacturers to facilitate the timely manufacturing of quality
electronic subassemblies

Required Skills

- Must be US Citizen due to gov't requirement
- Bachelor-s degree in Electrical Engineering (or comparable)
- 10+ years electronics design experience
- Substantial, independent, PCB design experience
- Any combination of test, analog, RF/461, high-speed design experience
