EMR Coordinator

Seeking an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Coordinator in the Owing Mills MD area to support a hybrid schedule (onsite/remote) for our customer on a 4 month+ contract basis.

The selected candidate will retrieve 50+ EHR documents per day (both electronically and fax) for entry into our clients database systems. The selected candidate will then track the progress and assists with documentation to support project needs.

Required Skills

-Education Level: Bachelor's Degree. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
-Experience: 3 years of experience working with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) is REQUIRED. Ideally Epic, Athena or Cerner, others are acceptable.
- Prior experience within the Medical field (medical receptionist, medical records examiner, doctor office support) is preferred
- Must be able to navigate within and read EHR documents.
- Basic Microsoft Office applications skills (specifically Excel)
-Able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Must have excellent customer service skills over the phone and email.
- HEDIS - Big Plus
- Must have solid Data Entry skills
