NIGHT SHIFT POSITION!! Elite Technical is seeking Tier 1 Production Support Analysts to support our clients call center during off hours. Although this position is 100% remote, we are seeking candidates that reside in Maryland, Wash DC, Virginia or West Virginia.
Responsibilities, tasks and deliverables include:
(1) Phone support providing technical solutions in production and plan test (user acceptance testing) environments. Tier I support for mainframe or software production issues.
(2) Provide Tier 1 support for Customers which includes Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, vendors and the internal staff
(3) Take phone calls for customer support during call center off hours. Solving tickets as they come in or escalated the tickets to the production team (production team is 24/7)
(4) Respond to and handle; alerts, abends and phone support escalations
The shift will start at 6pm and will be either a Wed to Sat OR Sun to Wed shift (days are TBD). Everyone must work on Wednesday for training or meetings.

-BS Degree is required (In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.)
- Strong verbal comm skills and solid documentation skills
- Must be okay with shift work: The shift will start at 6pm and will be either a Wed to Sat, or Sun to Wed shift (days are TBD).
5 years practical and demonstrated experience within the following (1 or more):
- Software Programming (Java/J2EE/AWS)
- Production environments Support
- Testing environments Support
- Mainframe, COBOL, DB2 & JCL
- COBOL applications running under CICS
- Ability to work within the UNIX and Windows environments using basic commands to navigate system availability and problem investigation
