Seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager to assist our client, a major BCBS organization, with a FACETS migration effort. The selected candidate will lead, plan, execute, monitor, control and closes projects for the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This role oversees and directs large scaled complex enterprise-wide corporate initiatives involving 100+ stakeholder groups across several organizational work streams utilizing Agile methodology to deliver results. This position will also be managing the selected vendor for this FACETS migration, managing the budget and scheduling of individual projects. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-25% Actively plans and manages large scale Waterfall or Agile projects holistically around scheduled program increments and milestones, scope, cost, resource health and risks/issues management while collaborating with stakeholders in key meetings resulting in successful project delivery.
-25% Plans and owns project finances which includes timing implications and key payment dates while proactively reporting status, scorecard creation and fulfilling project analysis requests by using critical and creative thinking.
-25% Leads and contributes to vendor selection and procurement activities under program manager guidance while identifying, producing and fulfilling resource and go-live operational plans to ensure project success.
- 25% Prepares key documents - Executive decks, present business cases and produces other reports as needed while collaborating with stakeholders to bring projects through project funding conversations and initiation ceremonies.

-Education Level: Bachelor's Degree (In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.)
-Experience: 10 years of overall experience, with the last 6-8 years of leading IT projects in a cross-functional, technical systems implementation. Seeking hands-on tech to PM background (SW Dev, Business Systems Analysts, etc..)
-Strong Financial Management ability including comprehension of project financials, profit and loss and the ability to create and manage and adhere to a broader project budget. Budgeting/general ledgers/profit/loss background required.
-Strong Risk Management background. Able to resolve any barriers, define tasks, secure upcoming milestones, mitigation strategies for go-live efforts etc...
- Able to manage the selected vendor-s delivery schedule. Must have a previous background in vendor management.
-Strong Communication skills both written and verbal in order to manage the selected vendor for this migration effort.
-Ability to successfully lead in a matrixed environment
