Full-time/Direct Opportunity for a PeopleSoft Application Developer! The occupant of this position will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the various PeopleSoft environments as required. The occupant of this position will also be responsible for planning, design, and execution of migration from the PeopleSoft environments to other solutions. The Application Developers are responsible for development, migration of code, object changes, and moving data from one database environment to another. Application Developers are also responsible for Application life cycle chanes made to the various environments (FSCM, EPM) and all the associated third-party integrations. Functional knowledge of core PeopleSoft 8.9 modules to include, finance, purchasing, order management, product / item management, Inventory Management, and Enterprise Service Agreement is required.

This position is based in Chantilly VA (Initially 5 days/week. Upon manager discretion may work remotely 2-3 days/week). Primary Responsibilities:

- Knowledge of PeopleSoft transactional processes across all FSCM modules
- Technical design, development, testing, and documentation of reports in SCM, FIN, and EPM 8.9 environments
- Provide technical expertise to Customer Advocates/Business Analysts.
- Technical analysis of design issues, and guidance on problem resolution
- Technical planning, analysis, development, and testing activities during PeopleSoft upgrades and enhancements and provide input to tools, standards, templates, code reviews, and methodology.
- Work with technical and functional analysts and business users to identify technical requirements, functional tests, system/user acceptance tests, and complete implementation
- Ensure the deployment and testing of application changes are completed in a timely and error-free manner.
- Monitor online systems, batch jobs, and provide performance tuning when application no longer meet service level agreements
- Design and develop application solutions using PeopleTools, PS Integration Tools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Filelayout, ComponentInterface, Application Package Peoplecode, REST API-s
- Create and maintain reports using SQR, Crystal Reports, and other PeopleSoft tools
- Implement new functionality and create automated interfaces with internal, external, and 3rd party systems, including EDI, CastIron, Clippership, RFI readers
- Design and develop shell scripts and stored procedures for the automation of PeopleSoft environments
- Provide assistance with the development of the technical architecture of the PeopleSoft, EPM application and Microsoft SSRS reports
- Knowledge of Enterprise Ascential ETL (extract, transform, and load) jobs by using best practices of development and methodology
- Review, design, development, and reuse of sub-routines/ETL jobs sequencing and workflows and testing throughout the development life cycle, to identify issues and ensure methodology compliance.
- Review, design, and development of Error Recovery automation, Data Validation, Job scheduling, Data Objects Cache, Logging & Instrumentation Framework.

Required Skills

- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and 7-10 years of related experience is required.
- PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) experience is required
