Cable Technician-New York

Our client, A major Voice and Data Company, is seeking a Mid to Sr. Cable Technicians who are responsible for carrying out various duties and procedures through out NYC and surrounding Burroughs.


Troubleshooting and repairing cable system infrastructure

Installing data and voice cables for commercial Businesses.

Installing cabled devices for business security systems

Upgrading existing cable and internet systems

Performing cable system maintenance

Must have OSHA Cert along with SST cards!
Must have own Tools

Required Skills

Exp with Cat 5, 6 cable and also a Certification is a plus.
AV Experience a plus!
Installing, maintaining, and repairing cable infrastructure
Performing maintenance on existing cabling systems
Testing newly installed or relocated cables according to company specifications
Identifying and removing redundant cabling
Installing of televisions, routers, and internet technology devices
Diagnosing and solving network issues for a client
Researching new developments within network and cable services
Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulation
