Technical Liaison/Coordinator (SW Releases)


Seeking a Technical Liaison/Coordinator to support our clients Application and Infrastructure Release activities. The selected candidate will deliver process support and serves as a technical liaison resource in, planning activities for application releases, change management, process optimization, and supporting initiatives. Creates baseline tasks, identifies gaps, and assists with re-designing processes to deliver superior customer experiences. Need to work with several teams, customer communications and notifications are key, update the leadership team, and communication skills are very critical. Facilitate calls with pre- and post-installations, technical reviews, & support in accommodating requests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- 50% Communication and technical liaison resource in, planning activities for application releases, change management, process optimization, and supporting initiatives
- 25% Creates baseline tasks, identifies gaps, and assists with re-designing processes to deliver superior customer experiences.
- 25% Facilitate calls with pre- and post-installations, technical reviews, & support in accommodating requests.

Although primarily remote, we are seeking candidates that reside in the Wash DC, Maryland or Virginia states and who are interested in converting to FTE status with our customer. Additionally, our client conducts SW releases on Saturdays and Sundays 1x per month. The selected candidate must be able to support weekend work.

Required Skills


- Able to work 1x per month on weekends is required
-Education Level: Bachelor's Degree (In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.)
-Experience: 5+ years of overall experience with at least 3 years of relevant Technical Process Liaison expertise
-Must have a Technical Background/Understanding in DB-------s, Firewalls, Application Servers, Application Releases etc.. (not hands on, but as a liaison within technical teams. Highly preferred that the environment is a SW/Infra. Release environment)
-Must have OUTSTANDING writing and verbal communication skills in order to support both internal teams and external customers with day to day release support/updates. Change MGT for release activities, sending customers awareness notifications, update team when things change, lead phone calls with the delivery teams about what the customer is seeking. Will be on Change MGT calls to identify application issues and work with tech/business folks to identify / resolve issues.
-Strong MS Excel understanding. Jira is a plus
-Knowledge of process engineering methods and evaluation criteria.
-Knowledge of process improvement techniques.
