Retirement Benefits Analyst

Elite Technical is seeking a Retiree Benefits Analyst to support our customer, a major Healthcare organization. The selected benefits analyst will be working with retiree members to support open enrollment and post open enrollment support. We are seeking candidates with specific expertise in Retiree Benefits (Preferable Medicare Advantage) to respond to inquiries from internal employees, external vendors, and retiree members. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

-40% Administers corporate benefit plans and programs such as retiree health plans, corporate well-being programs and other related areas.
-30% Supports annual enrollment process, communications, and advises on eligibility, coverage, and other benefits matters
-20% Conducts data entry of benefit elections.
-10% Identifies, researches and resolves benefits related inquiries.

Required Skills

-Education Level: Bachelor's Degree (In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.)
-Experience: 2+ years of experience supporting a retiree benefits division as a benefits assistant, analyst or other retiree benefits experience.
-Medicare Advantage knowledge is a considered a HUGE PLUS
-Excellent Communication skills and Customer Service abilities (both Phone/Email Support)
- Basic knowledge of variety and structure of retirement plans, pensions, 401(k)-s, IRA-s and Roth IRA-s.,
- Ability to learn in-depth various health insurance plans (HMOs and PPOs).,
-Ability to conduct research on benefits plans and changes to healthcare and insurance regulations.,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Peoplesoft Benefit Focus platform experience - Big plus
