Our client is seeking a FACETS Architect to support the modernization effort of their complex FACETS environment. We are seeking FACETS Architects who can implement the engineering best practices required to produce and deploy high quality products. Ensures engineering alignment with functional and technical requirements. Handles the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of products as assigned, ensuring that they are consistent with the company's architectural roadmap, product development strategy, and quality standards. Develops project plans with estimates and ensures development stays organized and adheres to the plan. Leads stakeholder and product owner meetings to define software requirements and creates highly complex systems. Acts as a mentor to junior engineers.

We are seeking candidates that have a development background in order to interact with multiple development teams on a daily basis. This position is a contract opportunity and is remote (with expected 1x per quarter travel the DC Metro area). Please contact Elite Technical to learn more.

Required Skills

- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree (In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience
- Experience: 8+ years experience supporting FACETS. Must have SME level knowledge of FACETS
- SW Development, including one or more of the following technologies (order of importance): Informatica ETL, REST API, Java, Tibco, Spring Boot, Angular, .NET
- Must have software development life cycle (SDLC) knowledge to ensures adherence to quality and delivery management systems
- Must have SQL Database knowledge (Oracle is a plus)
- Experience is FACETS in the cloud is a BIG PLUS
