Our client, an IT Services organization supporting commercial and federal clients, is seeking a Sr. Network Operations Engineer to join the customer's network team to assist with network security related operations.

The position is 100% Remote. The initial contract is 3-6 months with the possibility to extend.

This role will work with the customer-s different vendors and technologies including:
* Palo Alto Firewalls
* Arista routing and switching
* Meraki SD-WAN and wireless
* Extreme switching and wireless
* Cisco route, switch, wireless

Required Skills

- Must be UC Citizen due to client requirement
- Bachelor-s degree
- Minimum 5-8 year in a similar role
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills

* Experience working with the following:
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- Arista routing and switching
- Meraki SD-WAN and wireless
- Extreme switching and wireless
- Cisco route, switch, wireless

Required technologies:
- Ipsec, VPN, firewall troubleshooting
- WiFi, RF standards
- Multicast and troubleshooting
- Cloud networking (GCP and OCI)

Not required, but a plus:
- Network automation/Scripting (Python, Bash, Go or other scripting language)
- Any certs around the listed technologies
