Our client, a hospital system, is seeking an EHR Clinical Analyst for their IT department. This position provides support for their EHR application (Meditech) used in various departments within the corporate technology and clinical environments. The Clinical Analyst will provide ongoing support, monitoring, and optimization for the systems utilized by various departments in the environment.

The selected candidate will be providing EHR Terminology/Dictionary enhancements and updates and testing within our customers EHR system, will ensure the EHR systems is properly functioning, and will provide a large amount of new hire clinical training and internal customer service support for the front end users of the EHR system.

Required Skills

- Must have MA or LPN Certification
- Three years+ of Clinical and EHR experience (front end or back end).
- BIG PLUS: Experience building the backend terminology/database of an EHR system (terminology / dictionary wise). Any EHR system would suffice, big plus if Meditech
- Must be an analytical driven professional
- Must be computer savvy
- Familiarity with healthcare operations and workflows in either acute and/or ambulatory clinical settings is required
- Ability to provide internal employee training of EHR tasks is critically important. Must be able/willing to provide training.
- Strong customer service abilities for internal employee support
- Ability to conduct research into system issues as needed
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
