Business Process & Solutions Engineering Analyst


The Business Process & Solutions Engineering Analyst is a key team member and individual contributor position that will participate in helping shape the technology strategy and architecture. This individual will work alongside our network design teams, as well as provide information and recommendations for a robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions that meet our business goals and technical requirements. The selected candidate will work closely as a team member with various stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and executive leadership, to ensure our technology design stack aligns with industry trends and company objectives. Responsibilities:

- Routinely identify and communicate with key stakeholders to support business strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.
- Partner with business teams to analyze and document the existing architecture, functionality, and dependencies for UI, service, and data tiers
- Ability to plan/design structure of a technology solution.
- Work with the design of the development of the company-s architecture and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the business strategy.
- Identify necessary infrastructure and when appropriate software requirements as well as media requirements.
- Experience with the IP network design concepts and best practices.
- Determine interdependence of overall network system components .
- Identify gaps in current platforms and provide recommendations for future based on strategic goals
- Evaluate, select and suggest integration methods for the appropriate hardware and software.
- Produce maps, models or functional design tools of proposed designs.
- Work with Technology Group to produce functional designs for scalable and secure architecture solutions for a wide range of media-related applications, including content management, digital distribution, and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with product/functional and engineering teams to define system requirements and provide recommendations for the integration of new technologies and frameworks.
- Develop technical documentation for existing and new architecture systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to data security and privacy.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the media and IT industry; communicate the potential impacts and opportunities.

Required Skills


- Minimum of 8 years combination of education and experience in technology development and architecture, with a strong focus on the media and IT industry. Minimum BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- SMPTE 2110 knowledge is required, along with broadcasting/media knowledge. Experience in the Sports environment is a plus, but not required.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), microservices architecture, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Able to identify gaps in current platforms and provide recommendations for future based on strategic goals. Prior history in evaluating and recommending new technologies and tools to improve performance, scalability, and reliability of systems.
- Experience with various OS such as Windows, Linux and relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience working with organizational functions beyond the technical (hardware, software and systems engineering), including solutions development and business processing (critically important)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset; critical thinking.
- Strong documentation skills. Ability to gather, document and monitor requirements through and SDLC or Agile process.
- Proven track record showing experience with design and implementation of large-scale, high-availability systems and architectures.
- Expertise in data modeling, API design, and integration patterns.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent team approach, communication, and interpersonal skills.
