Long-term, full-time remote opportunity for an Architecture Analyst with occasional travel to Reston, VA. Our client, a healthcare-focused organization at the intersection of technology and health insurance, is seeking a professional to guide the deployment and adoption of their Architecture Tool & Repository (ATR).
Seeking a Architecture Analyst, who will guide the deployment and adoption of our client's Architecture Tool & Repository (ATR), consisting of Orbus Infinity (formerly iServer365), SharePoint, PowerBI, and Visio. The role will be responsible for configuring new ATR features, managing ATR operations, and ensuring that architecture content is organized and accessible to stakeholders/consumers via the Architecture Department SharePoint portal.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Architecture Tool Configuration - Work with team and vendor consultants to configure Orbus Infinity features, including diagram templates (Visio), metamodel, catalogs, reports, PowerBI dashboards, workflows, and SharePoint portal pages. Collaborate with business, solution, and enterprise architects to define use cases and requirements for Infinity features to be configured and deployed.
- Architecture Tool Management - Support administration and operations of the ATR, including user onboarding, troubleshooting, intake requests, curation, and continual improvement.
- Architecture Tool Knowledge Transfer and Training - Work with team members to capture/document knowledge acquired from Orbus consultants related to ATR configuration and administration activities. Support the development of end-user training material to supplement vendor-provided courses
- Project Management - Support the development, maintenance, execution, and monitoring of the ATR Project Plan. Maintain a backlog of ATR use cases and features and engage users, stakeholders, and the ATR steering committee in the prioritization and sequencing of backlog items. Prepare project status reports, inputs to the issue/risks register, and the overall ATR project roadmap for periodic review with the Architecture Leadership Team.
- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree - In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in an architecture domain (i.e., enterprise or solution architecture)
- Knowledge of / experience with TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks, viewpoints, and metamodels.
- Must be well versed / Experience with configuration / administration of SharePoint sites and architecture content management practices
- Experience configuring and maintaining architecture modeling tools (i.e., Orbus Infinity (formerly iServer365 - Preferred), Bizzdesign, Mega, etc.) and guiding architects and stakeholders in the effective use of architecture tools and repositories.
- Experience creating PowerBI reports and dashboards = Big plus
- Ability to motivate and influence others so that project objectives are met in a timely manner.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop high quality solutions.
- Ability to coach peers and team members
- Ability to manage cross-domain architecture solutions and issues
- Effective organizational, interpersonal/relationship management, analytical, communications (written and verbal) and collaboration
- Expertise with domain related architecture frameworks, methods and tools.
