Healthcare Program Manager - Product & Portfolio Delivery


Elite Technical is seeking a Program Manager! The ideal candidate is an experienced program manager in healthcare payer domain with Third party Administration of self-funded clients in the Multi-employer Trust or Health Plan administration who excels in client interaction and can effectively oversee strategic programs or projects that involve multiple workstreams/departments. They are skilled in managing initiatives from start to finish, leading cross-functional teams and ensuring ongoing program success. They are adept at guiding stakeholders through important decisions, coordinating activities, and driving process improvements. Furthermore, they have a keen understanding of stakeholder needs and utilize this knowledge to develop strategies that optimize ROI, customer satisfaction, and overall organizational performance.

We are seeking a passionate, results-oriented Program Manager in the healthcare payer domain with multi-employer trust administration of self-funded client who excels in client interactions, and can collaborate effectively with stakeholders to implement the healthcare benefit administration of large self-funded Employer groups. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing large complex client or rolling out new products in the multi-employer trust administration (Enrollment & Eligibility, Hours and Eligibility determination, Contribution Accounting, Vendor integration, Member Portals & Engagement) in Program Management capacity.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating product/program implementation in the Multi-employer Trust or Health Plan Administration of self-funded clients in healthcare payer
- Documents scope, objectives and ensures they align with expected business outcomes.
- Develops and manages project plans, including scheduling, resource tracking, and financials.
- Defines and implements program/project management standards and processes.
- Ensures timely production and approval of deliverables from internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively identifies and manages project risks & decisions and communication
- Established program governance and provides clear communication to all program stakeholders, including senior management.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for program management-related inquiries.
- Works closely with clients, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to plan and develop project scope, resources, and timelines.
- Manages project risks, issues, and decisions, prioritizing them effectively.
- Develops and manages project budgets, delivering against business goals.
- Builds and maintains strong client and business partner relationships.
- Contributes to internal initiatives to drive efficiencies and best practices.

This position is a fulltime, direct opportunity with our Healthcare client who is offering a generous salary and benefits package. Ideal work location is Westbury NY (Long Island) with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite). Alternatively, this position can be staffed remotely for candidates that reside in one of the following states: CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA.

Required Skills


- Bachelors degree in business administration or healthcare related field.
- 8+ years of program/project management experience with focus on Client and product implementation to a Healthcare ASO (REQUIRED)
- 4+ in Healthcare Payer with Business and IT Solutions across these domains for self-funded client implementation (Enrollment/Benefit Administration, Contribution Accounting, Member Portals and Communications, Finance, Reporting)
- Strong leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Payer Administration with client implementation and product enablement
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
- Strong working knowledge of change management principles.
- Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and persuade customers, employees, and management at all levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment.
- Stakeholder management skills in large complex project/program with Internal and external teams preferred.
