Elite Technical is seeking a Project Manager, with a commercial construction background, to support our client with a portfolio of new and improvement construction related projects! The selected candidate will develop and implement project management practices, processes, methodologies, and metrics; oversees coordination of personnel and resources required to successfully complete projects on time; monitors and reports on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing; ensures adherence to internal and external quality standards; resolves obstacles to completing project on time and on budget; serves as a liaison between the our client and external customers, or other functional areas of the organization.

This position is a 9-12 month contract assignment with the possibility of extension and/or conversion to FTE status.

This position requires travel between two locations (Richmond VA and Virginia Beach VA), and eventually (Q1/2025) will be traveling to High Point NC as well.

Required Skills

- Ability to Travel between Richmond and Virginia Beach VA, then eventually High Point NC.
- Experience - Minimum of five years of highly successful project management experience within Commercial Construction related projects. In addition, preference will be given to candidates who have college or university project management experience.
- Education - BS in project management preferred. Related BS degree is highly preferred
- Computer Skills - Highly proficient with project management software. Skilled in the use of Excel.
- Communication - Consistently demonstrate high competency in all forms of communication.
- Collaboration - Demonstrated experience in engaging others internal and external to the University.
