Our client, a premier Federal Healthcare Insurance organization in Reston VA, has an immediate opportunity for a Sr. Business/Systems Analyst that has specifically worked within a digital product organization, department or project, supporting a AWS Cloud Migration effort. We are seeking candidates that understand the Product Lifecycle as the projects this hire will be supporting are Product based projects within the Healthcare Insurance industry, along with several key migration projects (AWS Cloud migration and Mainframe to MongoDB migration).

The selected candidate will interpret business needs and issues by gathering, eliciting, creating, analyzing, documenting and validating the Business area-s user and/or technical (functional/non-functional) requirements. Collaborates in the creation of project plans to define, organize and schedule requirements management and development activities. Facilitates requirements analysis and verification sessions. Participates in the tracking and management of open issues and assists in planning for resolution. Participates in development sessions and design reviews in order to ensure design meets user requirements.

Required Skills

- Bachelors Degree Required (Health administration; business administration; software engineering or related degree)
- 8+ years as a Business / Systems Analyst - Career evolution from hands on IT to BA would be preferred. Must have at least 2 years of experience leading your own track of business with minimal support.
-Must have experience supporting an AWS Cloud Migration
-Must have knowledge of Java and Web Services
-Must have experience supporting a digital product based organization or project. Deep knowledge of digital product lifecycle management (PLM) is required
- Healthcare insurance industry experience
- Prior experience working in a large scale setup of multiple teams and handling multiple tracks
- Knowledge of the software development standards and practices is required
-Agile/Scrum/Safe Framework knowledge required
- Outstanding writing abilities to produce business functional requirements documents, user interface specifications, use cases, user stories, and/or data dictionaries
- Strong demonstrated analytical skills applied to business software solutions maintenance and/or development.
- Strong process analysis skills
- Strong process documentation skills

Preferred:
-Any Scrum or Product Owner related certification
-Mainframe to MongoDB migration experience
-Big Data (Hadoop/Cloudera) knowledge
