Elite Technical is seeking a Dynatrace Monitoring Systems Engineering professional! We are seeking candidates that can ensures the stability, integrity and efficient operation of our clients bridge platform, connecting multiple entities into one specific platform. This is achieved by monitoring, supporting and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. Assesses architecture and current system limitations, defines and designs system specifications, disaster recovery procedures and evaluates input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.

The successful applicant will have significant experience with Dynatrace Monitoring tool, along with hands on experience with Cisco Networking and Linux Server support. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

-40% Installs, tunes, upgrades, troubleshoots, and maintains all computer systems relevant to the supported applications including all necessary tasks to perform operating system administration, user account management, disaster recovery strategy and networking configuration.
-25% Develop and implement techniques to prevent system problems, troubleshoots incidents to recover services and supports root cause analysis
-15% Automates the installation and configuration of applications in development and productions environments.
-10% Evaluates new systems by performing in-depth tests, including end-user reviews. Researches software and related products to support recommendations and purchasing. Determines systems integration issues by evaluating components; developing and completing performance tests; analyzing test data; studying project requirements; analyzing user and potential user input; evaluating similar and related products and systems. Develop system automation and system integration of business processes.
-10% Improves engineering job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Required Skills

- Education: Bachelor of Science or Engineering (In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience)
- 5+ years of experience in Dynatrace, synthetic URL monitoring, installing agents, forwarders, APIs, performance monitoring tool alerts, dashboards and data trend analysis
- Experienced at developing Dynatrace dashboards for business processes, preferably leveraging Dynatrace Business Events
- Experience with recommending baseline monitoring thresholds, recommending performance monitoring KPIs and SLAs

5+ years of hands-on support within the following technology domains:
1. Cisco Networking - (IP Address, DNS, Public versus Private IP-s, Firewall rules)
2. Linux Servers
3. API - REST and Soap
4. MQ Messaging (Messages Queues)
5. SFTP
6. Understanding of firewall and F5 load balancing infrastructures
