Our client, a prestigious Federal contractor, is seeking a Mid-level Full Stack .Net Developer to serve as an active member of the software development team participating in daily stand-ups.
The role is mostly remote and the candidate will need to be in the DMV area and available to come onsite in Sterling, VA when needed for several days in a row for testing, meetings or other tasks. Our client is looking to onboard as a 6-month contract to hire.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize full-stack development expertise that ranges from client development of markup and styling to OS level services, and server-side containers and database technologies.
- Contribute to the design and development C# .NET core applications and hardware driver development.
- Design pattern implementations, including REST and dependency injection.
- Support Docker desktop containers and services such as Kubernetes or Konvoy.
- Database support for PostgreSQL code-first or database-first.
- Document software designs, which may include design diagrams, data flow diagrams, software module descriptions, etc.
- Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools to include VSCode and GIT.
- Provide Tier 3 / 4 engineering support, as needed, for solutions deployed to production.
- Must be US Citizen due to government requirements with the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust (current DHS Public Trust is preferred)
- Bachelor-s Degree and five (5) years or more experience; Master-s and three (3) years or more experience; PhD or JD and (0) years or more experience Two additional years of professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Primary Experience:
- Skilled at backend service development and interacting with hardware drivers and APIs.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
- Comfortable with both Linux and Windows Operating systems and environments.
- .NET 6 development
- Docker experience
- VueJS or ReactJS
Additional Experience:
- Distributed system design and development with Microsoft .NET environment
- Familiar with build pipelines, including Jenkins with SonarQube
- Excellent troubleshooting and resolution skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in team environments across a diverse set of projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and a delivery mindset.
