Elite Technical is seeking a Training Instructor with an electrical and HVAC backgrounds within the industrial or commercial or military sectors. The selected candidate will serve as a classroom instructor and will be delivering courses to adult maintenance professionals in all topics electrical! Candidates with classroom training experience is NOT required (just a big plus) as our client is willing and able to mentor/teach how to deliver classroom trainings courses.

This position will support our customer, a leading educational university who is providing support for their Government customer in Norman OK (will require to be onsite 5 days per week).

Required Skills

- High School Diploma or GED is required
- 7+ years of hands-on electrical/HVAC systems experience within an industrial or commercial or miliary environment
- Knowledge of electronic principles, AC and DC circuitry, circuit analysis, schematic interpretation, etc. Ability to use test equipment, gauges, or tools to take measurements and/or to take measurements with electrical or electronic test equipment.
- Knowledge of electric & mechanical equipment; heating, ventilation, and air- air-conditioning (HVAC); and predictive maintenance tools and procedures as they pertain to building system equipment and maintenance.
- Any experience providing Classroom Training to adult learners is a BIG PLUS.
- Ability to condense and simplify complex information and communicate clear oral and written instruction.
- Ability to instruct adults with varied backgrounds and levels of experience in complex subjects.
-Must be comfortable as the Instructor to adult learnings in a classroom setting
