Sr. Project Manager (Customer Facing Platform)

Elite Technical is seeking a Project Manager to support our customer, a major BCBS healthcare insurance organization. Although this position is remote, we are seeking candidates that reside in the one of the following states to support conversion to FTE status with our client: DC, MD, VA, WV, NC, PA, DE, NY, NJ, TX, FL

Our client is looking to re-vamp a function within their member platform to assist members with locating potential providers. We are seeking candidates that can support the re-vamp of this project, and future maintenance/upgrade efforts. We are seeking candidates that have worked with vendors, internal IT and marketing teams on a similar customer facing/member platform.

Required Skills

-Bachelors degree + 8 years of leading Project Portfolios as a Project and/or Program Management (12 years if no degree)
-Prior full budget control of min $2M of project spend
-Background in working with IT vendors is required.
-Background in supporting a customer and/or member facing application
-Expertise in both IT and business tracks; experience in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms.
-Experience managing schedules, pulling together tech and non tech teams for project compliance/update calls, vendor interaction support, risk management, escalations, etc-
- Previous technical project management experience in a dynamic high-technology environment is a key to success in this position
- Experience in execution of multiple related development projects simultaneously, with working knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle and the Project Management Lifecycle. This will be built on a track record of implementing business solutions in core critical technologies
- Ability to communicate with business and technical stakeholders
- PM tools: Jira, KeyedIn (preferred), Visio
