Elite Technical is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support our government customer in Washington, DC. The Intelligence Analyst (internally labeled as Strategy, Plans, & Policy Integrator SETA Specialist) supports the customer to provide intelligence analysis and strategic assessments; conducts intelligence research, prepares and presents intelligence briefings; prepares intelligence assessments and studies; and prepares concise written reports. Specific tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide SME expertise in technology applications, design concepts, and operations associated with classified DoD computer networks.
- Provide SME level intelligence and management consulting support to CDM requirements.
- Lead scenario planning and risk assessments for strategic planning purposes.
- Develops courses of action, recommendations, action plans, and solutions to address strategic challenges.
- Drafts reports, briefings, and presentations on defense strategy and policy issues.
- Monitors and assesses the impact of policy changes on defense operations.
- Leads collaborations, on behalf of the client, with government agencies, defense organizations, and stakeholders on policy issues.
- Provides support for strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation.
- Works collaboratively with other intelligence analysts and technology specialists.
- Creates actionable information activities intelligence (e.g., military intelligence analysis) across the various intelligence disciplines/domains or scientific and technical intelligence; or, within the business, competitive, and market intelligence domains.
- Produces intelligence reports in a variety of formats for concise, succinct, and clear delivery (RR #46).
- Leads team in development of expedited intelligence reports by utilizing advanced text and visual analytics.
- Contributes to development of long-term strategic plans and national defense objectives, while keeping abreast of geopolitical developments and emerging security threats.
- Clearance: TS/SCI (Able to start with TS/SCI Eligibility)
- Education: MA/MS in a national security, geopolitical, or international-related field (or a BA/BS plus an additional 4 years of related work experience)
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of fifteen (15) + years of related work experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of specific functional experience in the following areas: joint intelligence planning, all-source analysis, support of expeditionary task forces, and/or direct experience in development of wargames and table-top exercises in support of a DOD component.
- Expert in defense policy analysis and formulation, including versed in national security strategy documents.
- Expert in using analytical methods and tools to evaluate defense policy effectiveness.
- Experienced with defense acquisition and procurement processes, including policy implications.
- Experienced with defense budgeting and resource allocation principles.
- Knowledgeable in technology applications, design concepts, and operations associated with classified DoD computer networks.
- Experience in military intelligence., or business, competitive, and market intelligence domains.
- Experience in working with classified and sensitive information while adhering to security protocols and clearance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to brief at all levels.
The following qualifications are desired:
- Experience in Data analytics text enablers such as: various AI tools, and/or data analytics tools like Tableau, Python, Power BI, or other.
- Experience in providing support to coalition, NATO or bilateral military activities.
- Experience in international relations, diplomacy, and military alliances in the context of defense strategy.
