IT Systems Integration Analyst

Our client, a prestigious Federal contractor, is seeking an IT Systems Integration Analyst to join their team in support of a DHS agency. You will have a fast moving, challenging, and highly rewarding position keeping the infrastructure running that helps keep our country safe.

The position is Hybrid, and the candidate will need to be local to Sterling, VA and available to come onsite as needed. Our client is looking to onboard as a 6-month contract to hire.

Responsibilities:

- Provide Tier 3 IT Systems support on a wide range of technologies, including: Microsoft Windows and Linux Operating Systems, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Certificate Services, Group Policies and ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Assist in testing, applying and maintaining server configurations and related security patches.
- Evaluate system performance results and recommend improvements or optimizations.
- Review and perform advanced analysis of system logs.
- Create troubleshooting documentation including writing SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to accomplish repetitive tasks.

Required Skills

- Must be US Citizen due to government requirements with the ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Public Trust
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a directly related field is required (4 years experience in lieu of degree)
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Linux.
- Experience with cloud-computing services, such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure is highly desirable.
- Experience working in DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience using Windows Command Line Interface (CLI) and Linux shell scripting to interact with systems and applications.
- Proficient in Windows Batch & PowerShell scripting to create automated processes.
- Proficient with SSH.
- Knowledge and experience with configuration management.
- Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high-quality environment.
- Must have excellent team skills and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
