Elite Technical is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our client, a major Healthcare Insurance organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for answering member, provider & broker inquiries pertaining to product information, benefits, claims resolution, eligibility and billing questions in a call center environment. Proactively provides information and education to members, providers & brokers, as appropriate, about a variety of health, financial, and self-service programs. Provides basic technical assistance and troubleshooting guidance for digital and electronic applications.
This position is a Temp to Permanent opportunity, affording career growth and stability. We are seeking candidate who can be flexible during open enrollment season (Nov to March) to work evenings and weekends between the hours of 8am-8pm (40 hours per week/8 hours per day/3 shift are 8a-5p, 8:30a-6:00p, 11a-8p - candidates must be A/OKAY with one (or more) of these shifts.) After open enrollment concludes, the schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8a-8p (8 hour days/40 hour workweeks)
** Education Level: High School Diploma or GED
** Experience: 3+ years customer service experience within a Call Center/High Volume environment (inbound calls)
** Medicaid / Medical Insurance background in general is a BIG PLUS
** Demonstrated skills as an empathetic and compassionate communicator. Ability to quickly gain customer trust and confidence
**Demonstrated PC navigation and data entry skills.
** Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
