Our client, a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran Owned business providing full-service IT solutions to both federal and commercial clients is seeking a Network Technician for a 6-month DoD contract located at Eglin AFB in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

The Network Technician will be working closely with the Network Engineer tasked with replacing over 500 Cisco switches with new Catalyst 9K switches in 217 closets across the base. The team will work under the direction of the Network Architect that will be managing the project remotely.

Responsibilities:
- Disconnect old equipment
- Log new equipment
- Upgrade new equipment
- Configure and patch new equipment
- Install new devices
- Check that the switch is working

Required Skills

Required Skills - Must be US Citizen
- Active DoD Secret
- 3-5 years experience as a Network Technician
- Must have experience upgrading, configuring, patching, and installing Cisco Catalyst 9K switches
- Must be able to work onsite M-F
