Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has multiple openings for Splunk Software Engineers on their MUOS team in Scottsdale, AZ. As a MUOS Splunk Software Engineer, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for building and deploying dashboards within Splunk.

The initial contract is for 6-12 months with the potential to extend or convert based on job performance. This position can be Hybrid with a minimum of three days working onsite at our client's Scottsdale, AZ facility.


The system provides a familiar cellular phone-like service, allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at higher levels of quality and much greater capacity than available through the current system. Not only will you maintain the current live system, but you will help add new capabilities, enhancements and replaces end of life components.

Required Skills

- Must be US Citizen due to government requirement
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret (active Secret is preferred at time of hire)
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM field and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Experience building Splunk dashboards in Splunk Enterprise
- Experience writing Splunk queries
- Experience with other data mining and analyzing tools,
- Familiar with HTML, XML SQL, Gitlab and Linux
