Mechanical Engineer - OK

Elite Technical is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer for an assignment with a highly regarded aerospace and defense customer in the Tulsa, OK area. The selected candidate will be responsible for mechanical design, integration, test and production support of simulation equipment. Typical responsibilities will include development of 3D models, detailed drawings and interfacing with manufacturing.

Due to the nature of the work to be performed, any candidate seeking consideration must be a U.S. citizen with an Active Secret Clearance.

Required Skills

Must have an existing, active Secret Security Clearance.
-BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline
-Prefer 4+ years of directly related experience
-Experience developing 3D models and detailed drawings
-Experience using SolidWorks
-Ability to develop innovative solutions
-Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences that include peers, management, and customers

Desired Qualifications
-Experience using AutoCAD
-Finite Element Analysis application experience
-Familiarity with aircraft cockpit systems
-Simulation equipment experience
